Community Service Opportunities at St. Francis
 

Ministries of St. Francis meet critical needs of San Francisco residents at every stage of life. Friends of St. Francis Childcare Center cares for more than 35 children and their families year-round, five days/week.

Every week, St. Francis serves nutritious meals to more than 100 homeless and marginally-housed adults and elders on Sunday mornings. Every Thanksgiving Day, more than 200 people gather at St. Francis to give thanks and to share a traditional dinner cooked. These meals could not be done without volunteers.

Every Wednesday morning St. Francis operates a senior center for 40 to 60 seniors. A meal is prepared and served to them at noon. The meal is prepared and served by volunteers.
